Dear Bob,

Thank you so much for the two dozen roses you gave me today as an early Mother’s Day present.  They are beautiful.   I must say, however, that I have never received roses with so many instructions.  As you can see by the photos, there was a slight accident when I reached Step 5.  I had to stop at Step 6 because I may need stitches.  But don’t worry, I am pretty sure I can get the blood off the petals and complete all nine steps some time this evening.  Love, Kelly.
